Scholarly Responses to Richard Dawkins: A Compilation

I know it’s a bit late to jump into the Dawkins arguments. Some people would like to read scholarly responses, and other really wouldn’t care. He is well known for being demeaning, misrepresenting beliefs, and insulting people who disagree with him. There have been, however, excellent intellectual responses to Dawkins’ slanderous misrepresentations. Here are some examples.

According to one, if religion did not exist, we would all gather together and sing Kumbaya. Alas, Kumbaya would not exist.

Terry Eagleton provides, by far, my favorite response to Richard.

Mehdi Hasan interviews Dakins personally and provides some very strong criticisms. Dawkins even recants some statements in his book.

Francis Beckwith provides a very philosophical response.

David Grandy clears up some ambiguity between religious thinkers and science.

An inexpensive book ($0.01), provided by Alister McGrath.
